On May 4, the 46th anniversary of the Ria Formosa Natural Park will be celebrated with an Open Day at the Centro de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental de Marim!<\/p>\n
The Parque Natural da Ria Formosa, the most important wetland in southern Portugal, stretches from Anc\u00e3o to Manta Rota, covering the municipalities of Loul\u00e9, Faro, Olh\u00e3o, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo Ant\u00f3nio.<\/p>\n
This Natural Park is made up of a great diversity of habitats, such as barrier islands, salt marshes, dunes, salt pans, freshwater lagoons, watercourses and forests, harbouring a singular biodiversity.<\/p>\n
During the park’s Open Day, various activities will be organised to publicise and promote all these natural values.<\/p>\n
