From 15 to 20 April we’re celebrating Ria Formosa Week, an event that aims to promote and share the natural values of the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa.

The six-day programme is packed with activities for all audiences and includes an activity organised by the Vita Nativa Association.

On 17 April, the challenge is to discover nests in the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

There are several species of birds that nest on the ground in marshes and salt pans and that are currently starting their breeding season.

Come and discover the nests and learn more about these birds and the conservation projects we have been developing!
