Have you ever thought about how you can play a more active role in interacting with your surroundings?

This talk will promote an exchange of ideas between experts and listen to participants on cultural and natural heritage and its preservation, challenges and expectations, as a way of informing and involving society in the debate on an increasingly relevant topic from a global perspective.

The guests for this event are Dr Patrícia Silva, a technician from Almada City Council and responsible for the ReDuna project – Ecological Recovery and Restoration of the S. João da Caparica Dune System, and Dr José Lino Costa, a researcher at MARE – the Centre for Marine and Environmental Sciences and assistant professor at FCUL – the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon.

The activity is part of the Vale de Milhaços Gunpowder Factory Biodiversity Enhancement Plan, a partnership between the Seixal Municipal Ecomuseum and the Vita Nativa Association.
